Gerhard was the guest speaker at the Friends of NRA Banquet on February 20th, 2016, at the Amvets building in Circleville.

Gerhard donated two of his books for their fundraising auction, and they sold for $200 each! (The friends of NRA banquet is a fundraiser for the future of shooting sports.)
